Italy though witnesses the increased number of Covid-19 cases. But the country is not looking forward to continue with the lockdown. Italy is one of the worst-hit states in Europe and has witnessed 35,000 deaths till now. For the first time, it has recorded more than 1000 cases of Covid-19 in a day. The lockdown rules were eased by the government in the month of May and since then this is for the first time that it has witnessed around 1071 new cases in a day. The Health Minister informed that the number of beds in the intensive care unit of the hospital has been doubled. Italy though hasn’t imposed the nationwide restriction, but still, the restrictions continue to be the same in some of the places that are seeing a gradual increase in the number of cases.
