On Tuesday, Nobel Prize 2020 for the Physics category has been awarded to the scientists involved in the discovery of Black Hole. It was given to Britain’s Roger Penrose, Reinhard Genzel of Germany and the American scientist Andrea Ghez, for discovering the black hole, which is considered one of the most unusual phenomena in the universe until now.
Professor Penrose of Oxford University received the half prize to use the mathematics in proving the black hole. Genzel and Ghez of Max Planck Institute and the University of California, respectively received the prize for discovering the other half about an invisible object that governs the orbits of stars at the centre of our galaxy.
