On Wednesday, IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva said that from the past nine months the world is struggling through the pandemic and is still struggling to come out of the darkness of a crisis. This has taken the lives of millions and has driven the economy into reverse. The IMF has proposed three policy priorities, which include measures to protect lives and livelihoods, building a resilient and inclusive economy and dealing with the debt. These things will help in overcoming the crisis of Covid-19 and in building a brighter future. She said all the countries now have to face the journey full of difficulty, uneven and liable to setbacks.
