The governors have also ordered that the people should strictly follow the norms of social distancing and wear the face mask. They have urged the public to stay at home and celebrate the day.
If we talk about the number of cases, the US has set another record on Friday by reporting 52,300 new cases. The number of cases in Alabama reported more than 1,700 new confirmed cases and the number of reported cases in New York has been 918 in the last three weeks.
Mayor Muriel said, as quoted, “Ask yourself, do you need to be there? Ask yourself, can you anticipate or know who all is going to be around you? If you go downtown, do you know if you’re going to be able to social distance?“
