Scientists has discovered a bio-signature molecule in the atmosphere of Venus. The discovery of the Phosphine in the environment suggests the existence of life on the planet. The discovery was reported by an astronomer through a paper in Journal Nature Astronomy Sept. 14. With the help of James Clerk Maxwell Telescope, the presence of the product of phosphorus and hydrogen atoms was detected. This was a type of the telescope that detected the microwave and infrared wavelengths. Phosphine is created on the earth in an oxygen-free environment or anaerobic life. The researchers said that till now no other method of creation of phosphine has been detected.
