The senior officials informed that the Indian Space Agency, ISRO is planning to launch a new rocket by December 2020. Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV), the new rocket will cost around 120 crores. He also informed that the testing of the biggest motor-booster motor-fired by solid fuel would be carried out in November. The officials informed that the SSLV is a three-stage rocket which is powered by solid fuel. He informed that major development for SSLV is the local components with the brand new electronic systems. He further said that the rocket consists of a simple pyrotechnic system to demonstrate the launch of SSLV, the first satellite to be carried will be 142 kg Microsat-2A.
