An elderly Dutch woman, who was tested positive two months back became the first known to die because of the Covid-19 reinfection . The 89-year-old elderly was suffering from the rare bone marrow cancer named Waldenström’s macroglobulinemia, which is a malignant disorder of the bone marrow and lymphatic tissues. The patient after testing negative started her chemotherapy for the cancer treatment, but within two days, she again diagnosed the Covid-19 symptoms that included fever, cough and difficulty breathing. She was then tested Covid-19 positive, although her antibody test came negative twice. According to the Telegraph reports, the researchers have so far confirmed 23 cases of Covid-19 reinfection.
