The United States from the past week is experiencing a massive protest on the death of George Floyd. The story has captured the entire DC.
Now the prominent and outspoken boxer Floyd Mayweather, has come up. The boxer has discussed with the family of Floyd and said that he will arrange for the funeral of 46-year-old.
The story was first reported by the Hollywood Unlocked, after the CEO Jason Lee, had discussed Floyd’s death in a private dialogue with Mayweather.
George Floyd died after the former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin leaned on his neck for nearly nine minutes.
According to the results of a postmortem released by the family lawyer, Floyd died because of the pressure caused him to asphyxiate.
The city is still experiencing a protest against the same. The protest is against the death of another black man from the hands of the police.
Mayweather connected with Floyd’s family and has agreed to pay services in George’s hometown of Houston, Texas.
The boxer has agreed to pay for the ceremonies in Minnesota and Charlotte, North Carolina. It has been reported that Floyd’s funeral service in Houston will take place on Tuesday, June 9.
