Kuwait, which is considered to be one of the world’s richest petrostate has reported that it is running out of cash. The Finance Minister of Kuwait in 2016, Anas Al-Saleh, already tried to make people aware of the threat. He said that it was the time to think beyond oil, but that was dishonoured by the population. Now four years later the worlds richest is battling to meet the ends. This is because a sharp decline is observed in the prices of energy. Not only pandemic but the shift of population towards renewable energy sources has posed a huge question in front of the Petrostates.
