Spearheading the nation of world’s second largest population on earth, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took the first jab of his priliminary covid vaccination process in an effort to boost the citizens confidence for the home grown Covaxin.

The fully Made in India vaccine has been developed by the joint efforts of Bharat Biotech and the Indian Council of Medical Research. The vaccine was earlier approved by the government of India along with the Astrazeneca’s Covishield to carry ou the ambitious mission of world’s largest vaccination drive against the Covid-19 pandemic.
Today on wards India will be carrying out its second phase of the Covid vaccination throughout the country at the government and the selected private medical centres. Earlier the government has fixed the price of vaccination jab at Rs. 250 for the privately administered facilities.
