World’s second largest economy China might be going through a major food crisis within the country as experts keeping eye on China have noticed an interesting trend . The country has been signing deals with multiple nations across the world on food grains and food products, which mainly focuses on massive transaction of food items.
In July 2020, inflation in the country rose by 13.2% and the prices of the products used by the people in day-to-day life have shot up, this includes everything from cereals to meat. As per National Bureau of Statistics, the price of generally consumed pork and meat has raised to nearly 86%. Along with this China has also increased its import of the grains in the first half of this year by 22.7%.
