On Tuesday, the T1 announced that the organization has re-signed star AD carry Jin-Seong “Teddy” Park for a multi-year deal. The contract has been signed through 2022. The same was announced by the organization through its official youtube channel.
Though the deal was not expired and was to be continued until November.
Joe Marsh said that he wanted the contract to be continued with the world’s best AD carry. T1 said that signing him was the priority.
Teddy, 22-year-old South Korean, had been the part of organization T1 since 2018. League Champions Korea 2019, Summer playoffs and the Spring playoffs 2020 were won by the team.
On the extension of the contract, Teddy said that he was very happy that he is able to continue with T1. He added that he was thankful to Joe Marsh the CEO for the offer and for the good treatment. He promised to give a better performance with his teammates.
Teddy became the 10th player in February to reach 1,000 kills in LCK play, the group joined by Faker. On Wednesday, Summer Split 2020 has been started by T1 against DRX.
