The NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration), on Monday, confirmed that the Stratospheric Observatory for Infrared Astronomy has found water on the moon’s sunlit areas. This discovery also implies that water has been distributed all over the surface and is just not limited to the shadowed region. Researchers previously had discovered the presence of hydrogen on the surface of the lunar, but we are not sure if it was water or not. Paul Herts, Director of the NASA Science Mission Directorate Astrophysics Division has said that the discovery has also raised the questions about the resources that are required for space exploration.
